We are currently seeking an experienced Senior UX/UI Designer to join our team and work on a challenging and exciting project for one of our clients.
About the Role
As a Senior UX/UI Designer, you will be tasked with designing a desktop-based web application for our client’s in-house users. Your extensive knowledge of UX and UI design principles will be critical in enhancing the user experience. You will collaborate closely with the architecture and engineering teams and interact directly with our client to analyze production needs and define user interfaces and interactions for their new cross-platform product. The ideal candidate should possess practical knowledge of animation and video production pipeline patterns and tools, along with a passion for innovating new approaches that enhance productivity and creativity.
Key Responsibilities
– Lead the design process from conceptualization to final implementation by collaborating closely with UX specialists, developers and artists to create the structure and user journey of the application interface, ensuring a hierarchy of information and clear communication.
– Conduct user research to understand user needs, behaviors, and pain points, and develop user personas, user journey maps, wireframes, and prototypes.
– Visualize intended solutions at various levels of fidelity, from high-level wireframes or mock-ups to conceptual presentations and highly technical documents and diagrams.
– Design intuitive and visually appealing user interfaces by working iteratively to craft, test, and improve designs, gathering feedback from stakeholders.
– Be an active member of the scrum team(s) for your focus area, ensuring that design intent is maintained throughout the development cycle.
– Stay updated with the latest design trends and best practices.
– Occasionally travel to the UK to collaborate with teams based there.
Qualifications
– Experience: Minimum of 10 years of experience in UI design with at least 3 years in UX research, including a good experience of animation and video production.
– Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Digital Media, Design, Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), or a related field.
– Skills:
– Strong portfolio showcasing expertise in UX/UI design.
– Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Adobe XD, Photoshop and Illustrator (or other visual design and wireframing tools) with Adobe After Effects and Premiere.
– Strong user research and usability testing skills.
– Ability to create detailed wireframes, high-fidelity mockups, and interactive prototypes.
– Experience in video production and animation design.
– Good understanding of HTML and CSS, with basic knowledge of scripting.
– Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
